ANSI 57 Series Porcelain Line Post Insulators

ANSI 57 Series porcelain line post insulators are used in overhead distribution and transmission lines to provide mechanical support and electrical insulation for conductors, and are typically installed on crossarms and pole-mounted structures.

According to conductor attachment and installation requirements, ANSI 57 Series line post insulators are classified into Tie Top, Vertical Clamp Top, and Horizontal Clamp Top types.

The Tie Top type, including commonly used models such as ANSI 57-1, 57-2, and 57-3, features a top groove for conductor tie wire and is widely applied in overhead distribution lines.
The Clamp Top series includes Vertical Clamp Top types (e.g. ANSI 57-11, 57-12) and Horizontal Clamp Top types (e.g. ANSI 57-21, 57-22), suitable for different conductor sizes and installation orientations, providing secure mechanical clamping without tie wire.

ANSI 57 Series porcelain line post insulators are manufactured in accordance with ANSI C29 standards, and the mounting hardware or steel base (stud) can be supplied with customized length and thread specifications to meet various crossarm installation requirements.
