11kV Lightning Arrester

11kV lightning arrester, also commonly referred to as an 11kV surge arrester, is designed to protect distribution equipment on 11kV power lines against lightning impulses and switching overvoltages. It is a gapless metal oxide surge arrester with a polymer housing, providing reliable insulation performance, good hydrophobicity, weather resistance, and suitability for outdoor installation under different environmental conditions.

The 11kV lightning arrester is designed and tested in accordance with IEC 60099-4.

Gaoya Power offers 5kA and 10kA nominal discharge current versions. The 10kA version is commonly used in distribution systems and applications requiring higher surge current capability and more demanding protection performance.
