Polymer Pin Insulator

Polymer pin insulators are designed for 10kV to 36kV medium and low-voltage distribution lines, providing both mechanical support and electrical insulation.

The polymer pin insulator consists of three main components:
• Top Metal Fitting – Designed with a grooved structure to securely hold the conductor.
• Fiberglass Core Rod – Encased in hydrophobic and corrosion-resistant silicone rubber sheds, providing excellent insulation and high tensile strength.
• Bottom Metal End – Features a threaded joint for secure installation on steel or wooden crossarms.

Polymer pin insulators are lighter than porcelain pin insulators while providing superior mechanical strength and electrical performance. Due to these advantages, polymer pin insulators are increasingly used worldwide as a modern replacement for traditional porcelain pin insulators.
